About the golf
Isla de Valdecañas Golf Course is located in Cáceres, an hour and a half outside Madrid. It is a reference in Spain, appreciated by players of all levels, in the heart of the Valdecañas nature reserve, one of the biggest in Spain spanning 7,000 hectares. It offers a superb view of Monfragüe Park and the Sierra de Gredos and Sierra de
Guadalupe mountain ranges. The island’s urban development project has proved to be one of the highest quality or most environmentally suitable in Spain in recent years. As a result, the golf course gives visitors the chance to enjoy one of the most beautiful spots in Spain.

Located in an extraordinary spot surrounded by the Sierra de Gredos mountains and Monfragüe Nature Park, the hotel has 80 rooms. In addition to the golf course, the hotel also offers 10 paddle courts, five tennis courts, two football pitches, two sports grounds, a skating rink, a volleyball court, an equestrian centre, a man-made beach and a swimming pool.
